Rabuko Salad Bistro takes its name from the Kenya coastal rainforest, Arabuko Sokoke. Rabukoʼs philosophy harnesses the restorative powers of nature through its selection of ingredients for its salads as well as the physical and social environment they create for their patrons.

Rabuko commissioned two x four to create an urban rainforest where their clientele would feel rested, restored and recharged. By using concrete, wood and steel we created the backbone of the forest. We then recreated the foliage of a forest by introducing plants and plant art. Finally we evoked the spirit of calm and restoration through vibrant modernist in-house designed and manufactured furniture pieces.
